Kentucky origins. Global Finish.

In 2022 Maker’s Mark launched their global travel retail exclusive Wood Finishing Series. Kicking it off in Sydney and then shortly after New York City. This series aspiration was to curate a liquid reflective of the essence of each distinct city.

But to really nail that, you gotta tap into the local insiders. We found tastemakers from each city to be the city representatives. We gave them a mission: to fill us in with stories, the nitty-gritty, and all those flavors that make their city tick. From the iconic NYC skyline carved in your memory, to the vibrant Sydney harbors and way beyond.

Sydney, Australia

Kicking it all off in Sydney we partnered with tastemakers Jordan Toft and Sam Egerton to bring to life their crisp and clean vision of a whisky to be enjoyed outdoors amongst others.

New York , US

Moving into NYC, we partnered with tastemakers Erina Yoshida and Justin Ottevanger to create a complex whisky with a long finish you’ll always remember, much like NYC.
